In the street
This is what happens when they city crew re-paves your street and then your daughter rides her bike into the street and gets stuck.
Thankfully, I was sitting on the porch watching her and I witnessed first-hand her getting off her bike and WALKING barefoot back to the the driveway.
I tried scrubbing her feet off outside, but when that didn't work, I resorted to a soak in the tub. I made her soak her feet for about twenty minutes, used a kitchen scrubber and still didn't get it all off. But at least it wasn't going to get on my floors!
This particular day also happened to be the day that I had planned to take the following "feet" picture of my kids. I debated about post-poning it because I wanted to enlarge this photo and hang it in my house. In the end I decided that the "freckles" on her feet were just part of our lives at this particular time.
Now I just need to get the print made and hung up! So, when you come over and see it, don't ask me what's wrong with CJ's feet!

Iron Sculptures from Tall Grass Forge
I have been working with Dustin to get photos of all his finished projects so that he can get a website up and running. He is SUPER talented and would like to start doing this full-time. It has been fantastic to work with him and he has been very patient as well. Earlier in the month we photographed the work he has done in the some homes in Greensburg and last night we photographed some of the sculpture work he has done in his shop. I really hope these make for a great website and I wanted to share a few, so you can all see how talented he is!

Greensburg Ironworks
Branching out and trying something different with my photography. I was contacted by Dustin to do some work for a website he is setting up that will show off his ornamental ironwork. I was a little nervous, having never done this type of work before, but I am very pleased with the way it turned out. Dustin, I hope you are pleased as well, and I will have your cd ready for you soon.

I was playing around last night working on creating some fun new stuff to offer my seniors. These are sort of hard to visualize without seeing the 3-d final version, but they are really cool. If you're at the house sometime ask to see a sample! My goal today is to get the pricing worked out on these things! Front & Back of a 4x5.5 Flat Card. Similar to a postcard, but color printing on both sides. They come in semi-gloss, watercolor, pearl, & linen for paper options...all really cool! These would make great invitations to a graduation party or thank you cards for gifts!
Front & Back of a Rep card. Much like a biz card, but again color on both sides. These can include contact information as well, I just didn't want to put personal info on my samples. Multiple paper options as well for these!

These are really neat...bookmarks! They are 2x7 and can be flat or creased. Again, hard to visualize without seeing the finished product. These could be used for so many things...birth announcements, invitations, the creased ones would be awesome business cards, Save the Date cards (that's a great idea I just came up with!)...anything you can imagine! These too are printed on both sides.
Of course, these things aren't limited to just seniors, anyone can order them, I am just looking to expand my senior market with some interesting new products. Melissa, you might remember all the samples I had of stuff at your house....these are my version!
Give me your feedback and let me know what you think! Can't wait to play with some things for my own kids too!
